Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
SteadyPath is a kind, supportive community for older adults working on strength, balance, and confidence. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the ground rules for how you use the Service — including lesson comments, community discussions, support messages, and any other content you post. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Be respectful
You must not use SteadyPath to post, share, or send content that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens, intimidates, or shames another member;
- is hateful or discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or medical condition;
- sexualises minors or contains sexually explicit content;
- promotes self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behaviour;
- encourages ignoring medical advice or discourages seeking medical care;
- is defamatory or knowingly false about a person or organisation.
Stay lawful
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to promote or facilitate illegal activity.
- Do not infringe anyone else's intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Do not share other people's personal information (addresses, phone numbers, medical records) without their consent.
- Do not impersonate another person, member, healthcare professional, or SteadyPath staff.
No spam, scams, or promotions
- Do not post advertising, affiliate links, MLM pitches, or bulk unsolicited messages.
- Do not sell products, services, supplements, or "cures" to other members.
- Do not solicit money, donations, or personal favours from other members.
- Do not run surveys, studies, or recruitment without our prior written permission.
Do not attack the Service
- No scraping, crawling, or bulk-downloading video content or community data.
- No reverse engineering, probing, or circumventing security or rate-limits.
- No uploading malware, viruses, worms, or malicious scripts.
- No accessing accounts, tickets, or content that don't belong to you.
- No automated account creation, credential stuffing, or artificial engagement.
Content you post
You are responsible for anything you post. Only share content that you have the right to share. Keep photos and videos focused on movement and progress — do not include other people without their consent. Please avoid sharing detailed personal medical information you would not want visible to other members.
Reporting problems
If you see something that violates this AUP, or receive a message that makes you uncomfortable, please report it through the Support page. We take reports seriously.
Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove content, warn you, mute or suspend your ability to post, or terminate your account for violations of this AUP. Serious or repeated violations — especially those involving harassment, illegal content, or attacks on the Service — may result in immediate permanent termination and referral to law-enforcement where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
